Personnel actions and procedures make up a major part of the activity of administrators in AEI. Looking for staff, working with them, guiding them, helping them, listening to them – these and other related processes fill much of the typical day of an executive. The efficiency and effectiveness of an institution relate directly to staff, how they are hired, how they feel about their work, and what they do.
